I see. Someone on Twitter made a DIY rack case out of wood.

For a Talos-II would pick a DunePro.

The biggest fans I found is 120mm.
And q66 made a water-cooling modification on his POWER8 server.

Is it not possible to use mmintrin.h to convert MMX to Altivec?

Here are some documentations linked: RCSwiki

Kernel 5.8.12 works again for me. Sound is for a short period of time distorted. Almost perfect.

IIRC, Raptor gave the OpenBSD-Team any sort of access.

Are any of those sites able to provide a graphical desktop (e.g. VNC) or they only provide shell access?

This I don't know. But I hardly guess, Raptor could offer that.

Operating Systems and Porting / Re: any test servers for developer access?

I can't offer access, but what about:

Unicamp Minicloud
OSU Open Source Lab
Raptor Data Solutions::IntegriCloud

Is this an option, maybe?

Nothing you can do. Status code: 500 is an Internal Server Error.

If you look at the Chromium Gitlab page there is a download link how to install on other RPM based distributions:
Code: [Select]
sudo rpm -Uvh https://github.com/chromium-ppc64le/chromium-ppc64le/releases/download/v84.0.4147.89-1/chromium-browser-stable-84.0.4147.89-1.ppc64le.rpm
This should work.

Edit: Don't miss to "sudo dnf install liberation-fonts"

What a pity, then this is unfortunately also no possibility.

I assume it has nothing to do with that, because with kernel 5.4 and the patch it worked perfectly. It's a FP regression (at least for Navi).

General CPU Discussion / IBM POWER9+ ?
« on: September 21, 2020, 10:43:47 am »
Because it will still take over a year for the POWER10 to materialize, I was wondering if IBM would participate in a POWER9+? A die-shrink of the current POWER9 to 7nm or 5nm.

Since the POWER9 is open-source, how difficult would it be for Raptor to do this or to order it from e.g. Samsung?
In the long run it would probably be advantageous in price and Raptor would be independent from IBM.

Raptor don't wait for orders. A new batch of Blackbird mainboards is on the way.

Debian (sid) is still available for big-endian systems.
