The best way to contact them is on X or Timothy via mail.

If prices around 500usd turn out to be true, then it would be worth buying. At least for my Intel box.

A lot of people are running Debian sid (big-endian) on G4/ G5/ POWER9.
Fienix, BTW is based on Debian sid.

On a PCIe G5 you could run even a TeraScale GPU on Linux.

Edit: Boot issues with debian-installer on ppc64

What about Fienix or Adelie Linux?

You could also check the PSU.
Surprisingly, the PSU was often the cause of such problems.

Edit: Here is also a checklist.

Introducing IBM Power11 processor

With a planned release in 2025, the next generation IBM Power11 system will have innovations in the processor, system, and stack levels to help enterprises propel digital transformation initiatives for their mission-critical infrastructure

IBM Newsroom, November 13, 2024

The longer the S1 is waiting, the more convinced I am that the S1 is a Power11 derivative.

Starship is at least available on Chimera Linux and ArchPOWER

KVM for IBM POWER

KVM for IBM POWER has also been unsupported since RHEL 9.0. We enable it in the AlmaLinux OS Kitten 10 virtualization stack, so it’s possible to continue using KVM just like it is in AlmaLinux 8.

GPU Compute / Accelerators / Re: Radeon RDNA3 support?

Two RDNA3 cards are now also mentioned on the wiki as working. On kernel 6.7 and 6.11. I guess the baseline for RDNA3 is also kernel 6.1.
