Did the latest system package v2.10 (Blackbird) from 02-15-2024 actually fix the issue?

2
Well, RabtorCS offered to help. So it would be very surprising if they would drop ppc64le.

tle, if you write to the mailing list, please also mention that there will soon be a new ppc64 (e5500) motherboard. Hopefully it will be affordable. https://mirari.vitasys.nl/

Hi,

the latest available upstream version v2.1-20250826 has support for both ppc64
and ppc64el allowing luajit to be built successfully on both of these architectures.

These nVidia drivers are only suitable for computation.
They do not provide any graphics output. Furthermore, they are outdated.

... More SIMD engines are being integrated, and as a hint IBM Z is next! The plan is to have *ALL* SIMD intrinsics for every platform supported.

Hopefully that includes the PPC970 and PA6T-1682M.

normally I don't do marketing, but I think this might interest people interested in VSX programming, we have just released a VSCode extension that integrates SIMD.info, SIMD.ai (optional) into a VSCode extension, check code.simd.ai
Codium free alternative pending approval of my account to the eclipse foundation

@lnikkila: Where are you located?
If I sell my Blackbird, it will only be the entire box. However, only quad-core.

Maybe cleaner and better solution from VectorCamp:

But it's always good to have options.

Sorry, I forgot. Chimera Linux.
