AFAIK, RDNA4 should work, regarding the wiki.
Here is a ROCm on ppc64le.
Dunno how well it woks. Highly likely Scottcjn is AI.
Also Timothy offered support, but no response.

I wouldn't buy a POWER9 system today either.

A) too expensive
B) new systems should be coming out soon.

Void is using lua54-devel.

If you don't need Enlightenment detection, remove efl-devel from the fastfetch template and set -DENABLE_EET=OFF. This should eliminate a large portion of the 608-package dependency tree, including LuaJIT.

cpufetch v1.07 has a little bug, but v1.06 works out of the box.
For fastfetch: LuaJIT is not supported. Lua support is optional.

I have a PowerMac G5 with Debian ...

That's good to know. Right now, I'm working with an LLM on porting a non-Linux OS. I still need to ask the lead developers if they accept LLM code. But if everything works out, I'll need someone with actual ppc64 hardware for testing. There is already some (old) ppc code available, but I'm doing ELFv2 ABI ppc64 first, then ppc64le, and finally ppc. A PA6T would also be good for testing.

You could do it via QEMU. But yes, you need someone to test. Cameron has the hardware, IIRC.
But yes, it's more important to make it work on le. I dislike Chromium.
