All that application is, is the front-end. It doesn't do any key extraction. You need the x86-only blob for that and it is not open-source.

Maury, I keep telling you: replace the libgraphene library. I even pre-built one, just replace the older one.

It does improve the perf BUT it is still tad slower than GNOME 3.38

Well, I can't argue with that. But it's much more useable than without it.

What exact command did you use? If you copied all the partitions with dd, it should 'just work'.

I haven't played with this myself, but that does seem abnormally low. If you boot, say, Void or some other Live CD Linux distro, do you get the same limits?

I need to update my QEMU, so I can't test it just this moment.

I wonder if NsCDE might be a better fit. There should be a Fedora package for it though I've yet to try it myself (I get my CDE fix on my HP-UX and Solaris systems).

I actually have a old white Aptiva husk, but it's a little small for a Blackbird, and it has sentimental value (long story).

I like it! It suits the 'Bird, gives it a T2 vibe. However, 120W PSU standard? Wow, that *is* a joke.

The main problem with Fedora is libgraphene, which is known, and sharkcz has been looking into it. A simple rebuild suffices to patch in place in the meantime if you are affected.

Excellent! Looks like it's doing its job. P9s are pretty heat-tolerant, also, I'm told.
