tle has a fork of it with the JIT I wrote just before the deletion landed.

2
I doubt they will reconsider it, and I don't intend to contribute any further work upstream given the relative abruptness of the decision. That said, it's their project and their policies, of course.

3
Still, good work.

Fun! (But requires Leopard.)

I have a Quad G5, but it runs Tiger, and I am not likely to run Linux on it. Similarly, my POWER6 runs AIX.

Is DHCP working OK with your internal Ethernet ports? I can't figure out why it WON'T work in Fedora, it WILL work in Petitboot, and it DOES work if I connect a USB Ethernet adaptor and plug the network into that.

I can't really test this on the T2 because it has a static IP.

Good work picking it up. Unfortunately I'm having trouble with Fedora on my Blackbird (won't DHCP through my wifi bridge), so I can't really check it right now, but I've been following the commits as they land.

I'll do my best, though I'm currently in a semi-permanent away job, so I'm not on my POWER9 much for sustained periods (part of why there hasn't been much Talospace content either). Job market isn't so great in my line of work these days.

Looks like a great start.

I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I don't see anything obviously wrong with your code.

gccgo should still work.

Good news: I heard back from someone "who would know" who said they are probably going to keep ppc64le, at least. However, big-endian ppc64 is still being considered.

Thanks. I know Warner and I asked him to clarify if this is BE-only or if this applies to ppc64le also.

Legacy POWER Hardware / Re: Will it run DOOM?

Not sure I follow. What's the target hardware? Doom has of course run on Power Macs since nearly the beginning (I bought Doom II and Ultimate Doom for my 7300 at retail).
