Sadly it's the BMC chip that I need.

2
@atomicdog, Can you flash a blank chip in the socket on the MB or will it need to be flashed prior?

My first attempt to contact RCS was December 1st of 2024.  They finally responded on the evening of February 28th asking to verify my shipping address.  I responded the following day.  I have heard nothing since.  I have been longing for the next iteration of Power goodness from this company, but if this is how they treat their paying customers I think I am going to pass.

@MPC7500, Still no reply from support, sales or X.  For some reason I am not seeing his email listed on the link you provided.

EDIT:  Never mind, it popped up once I followed him.

5
@MPC7500, is it tim@raptorcs.com ?

6
@MPC7500, @lepidotos,

Thank you both.  I posted a request on X.

@MPC7500 I am not paying for "Premium" so I can send a message.

General Discussion / Is Raptor Computing Systems still open for business?
« on: February 10, 2025, 05:00:06 pm »
I have been trying to contact both support and sales for over two months now and have not gotten a reply.  My Blackbird is non functional and requires a BMC replacement.  I would very much like to purchase one but so far crickets.

EDIT: I need BMC not PNOR

GPU Compute / Accelerators / Which .bin files to use

For a RX 6600, Navi 23, which .bin files would you add to BOOTKERNFW to get Petitboot on the discrete GPU?

For anybody trying this who is as ignorant with rust as me, <./install.sh> compiled it and <cargo (cargo install starship --locked)> installed it.

I was told by David Knaack that "You can install starship via your package manager of choice or build it yourself with cargo (cargo install starship --locked), but the default features will also require cmake."  This resulted in "syntax error near unexpected token `cargo'".  I know VERY little about rust.  I tried "./install.sh" and it appears to have compiled a non optomized version with debug turned on but i can't figure out how to install it.

Operating Systems and Porting / Re: [NEWS] Fedora 41 is out!
« on: December 13, 2024, 06:46:01 pm »
Thank you @atomicdog and jcsiblesei for the help.  Yes it is an uppercase oh  (O).  My other operating systems are working again, sadly my original Fedora 40 is not booting still.  The drive is not corrupted and is readable so I can get all my data off of it.
The thing I don't understand is pnor was still showing version 2.3.  The only clue it had downgraded was the linux version had reverted to 4.19.  To upgrade the pnor you have to ssh in from another computer and enter passwords, it then deletes the existing and writes the new version.  How did upgrading from Fedora 40 to 41 change my pnor?
