I don't know why that version doesn't boot, but I'm running 22.04 with 5.15.0-89-generic and haven't had any kernel trouble

Do you, or anyone, know if anyone has made similar type of measurement on memory latency, including caching effects, from a single core to all memory in the system?

and I haven't found an exact equivalent for the Power ISA, but there seems to be a 500MHz counter at least on POWER9 that I might try if I can find some simple code. It's something I've thought about but haven't gotten around to yet.
