Lekuo SouthBridge Max PB65MX3
« on: September 01, 2026, 08:50:59 pm »
Phoronix has an article today about a PCIe SouthBridge device with an AMD chipset which adds NVMe, SATA, and USB without needing PCI bifurcation support.
Article: https://www.phoronix.com/review/lekuo-southbridge-max
Device: https://lekuo.com/product_view.php?id=688

My question is: is there any reason to think this would work on PPC64LE with a recent Linux kernel?

I'm interested because I couldn't get the few SATA PCIe devices I tried working on my Talos II box despite being items that should have worked according to the wiki. https://forums.raptorcs.com/index.php/topic,444.msg3917.html
