Phoronix has an article today about a PCIe SouthBridge device with an AMD chipset which adds NVMe, SATA, and USB without needing PCI bifurcation support.
Article:

Device:

My question is: is there any reason to think this would work on PPC64LE with a recent Linux kernel?
I'm interested because I couldn't get the few SATA PCIe devices I tried working on my Talos II box despite being items that should have worked according to the wiki.
