I was trying to see how much RAM Chromium on Debian is consuming, but suddenly, after the latest update, it stopped working again. This time, even deleting the files and reinstalling Chromium didn't fix the problem. I'm currently without Chromium on Debian and honestly don't understand what's going on...
Update: I finally managed to install Chromium on Ubuntu. This is because I finally managed to install the jpeg62-turbo lib library, which isn't included in the Ubuntu repositories by default.
Initially, it would close immediately and not work. I thought it was having problems here on Ubuntu too. Then I decided to delete all the old files that were left over from the old Chromium 87 when I installed it on the old Ubuntu 20. At that point, the browser reverted to factory settings and started working normally. Now I can finally use Chromium on Ubuntu 24.4, which makes it even more complete as a Linux distro on Power.
