I suggest not updating to the 7.2 kernels right now - I ran into an issue on 7.2.0 and 7.2.2 where I got random segfaults in ld64.so.2 while compiling things. It looks like there is some kind of issue with syscalls that causes userspace crashes: https://www.mail-archive.com/linuxppc-dev@lists.ozlabs.org/msg258968.html.

There is a suggested patch on that mailing list post, but I'm not sure if anything has been submitted yet. I haven't personally tried 7.2.3, but I didn't spot anything in the changelog that looked like it might have fixed it.

7.2.5 isn't working on mine either. However, I also got bit by the issue with some SATA cards causing a kernel panic in earlier kernels, so I need to debug this further. I'm still booting 6.14 on a current Fedora userland, which is not ideal.
