Terminal command
Code: [Select]
pkcon refresh force should fix the problem, I think.

code]ipmitool sensor[/code] will show you the fan speeds etc. alongside CPU / DIMM / planar temps and power usage.

I'm aware of IPMItool. Would be nice to have a GNOME shell that uses IPMItool.

Is it possible that the kernel module ibmpowernv is not available under Fedora?
I wonder how then ClassicHasClass gets the fan sensors displayed on it?

574
Great. Now the card only has to work at Petitboot?

575
I don't have a discrete GPU myself, so I couldn't try it. But output will be Petitboot. That's why you need the disable jumper. Otherwise Petitboot will be shown on the AST GPU.

In the firmware directory you need two directories. amdgpu and radeon. Which files do you have in the directories?
But anyway, I would first to get it working under Linux.

Maybe there is someone else who could help.

576
About the keyboard, take a look at this thread.
Maybe did you blacklist the AST?

577
I guess, you tried ssh root@blackbird ?
Ethernet is connected next to the USB ports?
Did you also try to switch off the PSU for two minutes? And then power on again.

@xilinder: Pictures

Not beautiful, but rare (picture quality) ;)

Edit: Here is by far a better picture.

Have you read this wiki entry, already? To get the AMDGPU work under Linux.

Yes. It's written on the Wiki. If you're looking for a one-click solution. There isn't one.

581
Sadly, I can't test myself. But on the RCSwiki you could describe how to get the needed modeline using cvt command, modeline calculator or looking into Xorg.0.log for supported resolutions etc..

My guess would have been:
Unused space must be formatted first, then you can resize

What is the size of the whole disk?

And there's AFAIK no performance advantage in doing this. If you have a second computer, you could access the Blackbird via ssh:
Code: [Select]
ssh root@blackbird -t -p2200
Then you could see the hostboot coming up like:
Code: [Select]
--== Welcome to Hostboot hostboot-3beba24/hbicore.bin ==--

I'm not an expert on this topic (If one of my statements is wrong, please correct it ;)), but as far as I understand, the system crashes when the graphics card uses more than 4GiB (32bit). For example when you open a ton of Firefox windows. 40bit is 1TiB by the way, not 128GiB.

And even if a user would be affected by this bug, he would not notice it.

Here is a list of working PCIe to M.2 Adapters.
AFAIK, there is no PCIe4 card out there. And IIRC, the Asus card is only partially working (at best), because of the missing PCIe switch. A PCIe switch is needed to get all NVMe slots working.
