But with some issues from February.

Should I post this on the Fedora ML?

Dunno, if you're on Twitter. Linux on Microwatt.

No, the quality is good. The only thing was that from time to time speech-dispatcher appears in the GNOME settings audio. Then the audio sounds similar to the Bad.mp3. After I removed the speech-dispatcher everything was fine.

Turned on the Computer. The display switched automatically to the AMD port. Then I got a black screen and I had to switch manually to the AST port to get a screen. After Petitboot I have to switch back to the AMD.

Normally -> Power on -> switch automatically to AST -> after Petitboot switch manually to AMD.

I have also connected both GPUs to my display. But no matter which Kernel I was using (Kernel 5.4/ 5.5 or Kernel 5.6.13+) I always had to manually switch between the GPUs.

I think that in my case both GPUs are active after switching on. Because every now and then (very rarely) the display switches to the AMD GPU at startup.

Hi,

nothing special.
Code: [Select]
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="rd.lvm.lv=fedora/root rd.lvm.lv=fedora/swap rhgb quiet"
See link to the Kernel 5.4 alsa-info.sh output and Kernel 5.6 alsa-info.sh output

The only difference that I noticed while flying over it was:
Kernel 5.4:
Code: [Select]
0 [Generic ]: HDA-Intel - HD-Audio Generic
                      HD-Audio Generic at 0x600c0000a0000 irq 22

Kernel 5.6:
Code: [Select]
0 [HDMI ]: HDA Intel - HDA ATI HDMI
HDA ATI HDMI at 0x600c0000a0000 irq 23

Can a difference in IRQ cause this problem?

No. I think it's different. Two mp3s attached.

The quiet noise at the beginning comes from the recording. The slight crackling is like on an LP and the Bad.mp3 recording is totally distorted. Unfortunately I cannot reproduce it or provoke it. With Kernel 5.4 the sound is crystal clear.

I have a problem with kernel 5.6 and sound output over a Navi RX 5500 GPU. It's a rustle/ distortion gets worse with echo. The whole thing disappears then becomes and then reappears. Sounds similar to speech-dispatcher being activated. But I have already deleted this one.

With kernel 5.4 this problem does not occur. Is the problem perhaps already known or how can I localize the problem?

Blackbird / Re: power consumption figures?

I hardly guess, row four is also the complete (measured at the wall) system.
The top row is also the complete system (except a optical drive, minus RX5500 XT).

You can't compare measured at the wall with data reported by lm_sensors figures.
Data reported by lm_sensors is CPU alone, AFAIK.

You should compare row one with row four instead.
madscientist159 claims that the idle of 4-core and 8-core are identical, IIRC.

On the Blackbird page you will figures, too.

I don't think this will make any difference. Because the bottleneck will still be the Y-cable and not the fan connector itself.

419
Yes. It's mentioned also here.
Also the USB2 port is blocking some cards ...

I wouldn't look at speed, since most of them run at 2666MHz anyway.
I would buy as much RAM as I want to pay for it. I would buy 32GB (€130).

The performance is of course better if both slots are in use.
