Title: [NEWS] Linux 6.10
Post by: tle on July 17, 2024, 09:59:54 am
It is officially out!

ref: https://www.phoronix.com/news/Linux-6.10-Released

There are lots of exciting features and bug fixes. As far as I am concerned, the amdgpu driver (up to RDNA 3 graphic cards) continues to work.

I hope the 6.11 would support Intel Xe GPU on PPC64LE

That's good news. Is there any word on whether Xe works in kernel 6.10? I know there were issues with an Ampere Altra, but from what I remember the PCIe implementation there is a little hinkier than what we've enjoyed on Power9.

Not that I am aware of. I will see if I could grab a pre-owned A380 card from eBay and test it out myself
