The final version would be out in late April 2023. Now is the time to get it installed and tested.

On Talos II kernel 6.2.7 works unstably, I scored a system crash and a transition to petitboot.

Ouch. Anything in the logs or dmesg?

So far it has not crashed on my computer. One thing I do notice though is the much slower boot time after transitioning from Petitboot

Kernel 6.2.8-200 has been working properly for me for almost 16 hours. Unfortunately, SSD performance is worse than in 6.2.7-200, dropping from 6.5 GB/s and 0.03 ms to 6.0 GB/s and 0.07 ms.

In the logs after the collapse, I found nothing of concern.

That usually pops up when it's failing to detect my SATA devices (I have two optical drives connected). Then it just stalls until it times out.

The performance of Mutter is quite bad compared to that of Fedora 37. The animation is yet again sluggish like that of Fedora 36.
