Unfortunately, as expected, the performance of the card is laughable like any other Intel GPU. The only interesting thing is the price.

To be honest, I wouldn't choose Debian either. Debian is in my view the best equipped distribution in terms of OpenPOWER hardware. Secondly, when I look at the PowerPC mailing list, it's all about big-endian. Requests or bug reports regarding PPC64le remain unanswered. If I were to give the Blackbird to a Debian maintainer, it would be John Paul Adrian Glaubitz.

The NetBSD guy is suspicious to me.

Your second option "OzLabs member" sounds the most interesting to me.

But hey, in the end it's your decision.

Time ago I tried 15.1. It works fine. 15.4 should work, too.
Here is an overview: https://wiki.raptorcs.com/wiki/Operating_System_Compatibility_List

A dashboard or wiki page would be good. We only have a page about operating systems and about porting status, but nothing about libraries or what is missing at all.

I see. Thanks for the input. Zoë Knox sadly is located in Canada. But probonopd is also connected to ravynOS in some way.
There was also a guy who tried to compile Haiku on PPC64le, but also failed.

126
Another possibility helloSystem. probonopd is located in Germany ;-)

Haiku only because of lack of hardware. They don't even have Macintosh PowerPCs.

But still there are some activities:
Quote
Kallisti5 fixed some minor problems with the PowerPC port to keep it building and simplify it a bit. Kallisti5 and waddlesplash also continued cleaning up the RISC-V sources and fixing various minor issues there.

I would ask Kallisti5 and waddlesplash if they're interested in hardware.

Edit: At least these two developers located in the US ...
Edit 2: Discussion on Twitter.

128
Haiku would be a good candidate

Or NetBSD.

The Debian folks are probably the least likely group of people to need any additional POWER hardware. Since they are already sufficiently supplied with POWER hardware.

Dumb question? Good question. I have no idea, I don't use xfce. since it's not a PowerPC specific problem you could ask the void or xfce community, if you don't get an answer here.
https://www.reddit.com/r/voidlinux/

I do the same, because most of my topics aren't PowerPC specific.

I googled, maybe this helps?

Another one is FreeCS
https://www.phoronix.com/news/FreeCS-Open-Counter-Strike
https://github.com/eukara/FreeCS

There is also AssaultCube Reloaded
https://acr.victorz.ca/

And Urban Terror

Dunno if it's comparable to CSGO

133
Another possibility is kernel.cafe. Don't know if it still exists. I will see.

Edit: Here is already a thread about it

I can’t speak to the state of CS: GO’s source leak, but a friend of mine worked at Valve for years and was very familiar with the Source engine.

You'll find some CSGO repos on GitHub like Kisak-Strike
