Whilst Rocky Linux has not yet announced any support for OpenPOWER, the Alma Linux continues to excel with support for ppc64le

Guys my personal opinion is, what are all these distros for when what we at Power need above all is an expansion of the software park and therefore more support for our architecture, not dozens and dozens of distros that do nothing but increase only the already high fragmentation of Linux ... This is my personal opinion of course.

This may focus on FreeBSD, it is less fragmented ;-)
Personally, I have been testing FreeBSD on x86_64 for several weeks. It is good system.

After a month of testing the FreeBSD 13.x /14.0 [BE|LE] on the Talos II, I find it painful that the system is not yet suitable for everyday use. I've installed AlmaLinux 9, it's definitely more convenient, but not perfect.

Chimera Linux is on it's way ;)

Chimera is in line next. I finished the first attempt with a false start, I mixed up the iso images and the system did not want to start :-)

I know ;)
