@tle, also being a Fedoran, which card and which kernel (I'm currently on 6.1.6)?

62
Yes, I think you're right. Sigh.

Yeah, some glitches, but not many. Looks way better than the original.

Probably compile from the Fedora package itself: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Building_a_custom_kernel

I haven't done this recently, but I used to do it when I was hacking on KVM more.

Is Wayland still limited to 1024x768 on the ASPEED?

I've also found I get "more" output if I manually select the kernel I want to boot from the Petitboot menu rather than letting it autoboot.

Can Petitboot see it from the shell?

My T2 has a 88SE9235 which is slightly different, we've found. Raptor may have sold both. I have two optical drives in mine and both read fine and burn BD-ROMs (but I have to use an Apple USB SuperDrive to burn CDs and DVDs, though I suspect this is the drive, not the controller).

Looking at it again, it turns out it did need some relatively minor changes to build. I'm trying to remember exactly but I think I had to add -fcommon for later gcc versions and I also had to update config.sub and config.guess. I'll check it again and then I might just put my working compile on Github again when I'm back from visiting family.

I don't use the Fedora package; I built it from source. I don't recall having to make any (or at least any extensive) changes.

Yes. It's not very fast, though it does seem to at least start the BIOS. I haven't done a great deal of testing with it other than that.

And actually it did it on the Blackbird today when I tried to update it. So I think something regressed.

Blackbird / Re: Would this case have enough airflow for an 8 core setup?

This looks a bit fatter than the slimline mATX my 4-core is in, so I *think* based on the measurements the 3U HSF should be able to clear that.

Right, that's this bug, reported by yours truly: https://bugzilla.stage.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1921479

It should be fixed, but on the T2 at least, it doesn't seem to be.

What DKnoto said. Same thing bites me on every update. Oddly, though, only on the T2 -- the Blackbird doesn't seem affected.
