But now mine is working properly again. I thought it was a bug because it happened during an update, so I thought it was just a bug. Instead, it was my Chromium that had a problem, and I had to reinstall everything and delete all the files it retained.
What I'm most disappointed about is that I can't have Chromium on Ubuntu now that this distro finally works well on Power after such a long time. The good thing is that since it's a deb package, it should be fully compatible, but instead I've tried installing it several times, but nothing, it just won't work. What a shame, damn it.

Btw, how much RAM does your chromium normally consume? Mine on Fedora would take around 17GB!, no kidding 17GB!

To be honest, I haven't checked this. As soon as I run it and keep it running, I'll check the usage and let you know. 17 GB of RAM is a lot. Do you see it while it's open without browsing, or when you're browsing? Or when you have multiple pages open, let me explain better...

When I am browsing I could instantly tell the browser gets a bit laggy

It's a little clearer now. I remember when I used it on Fedora, I noticed that it was indeed a little slower than its Debian counterpart, but I never noticed any RAM usage. At this point, I think it's a problem with the Fedora version because on Debian the browser browses well and quickly, so I don't think there are any issues with excessive RAM usage. In any case, as soon as I start it, I'll let you know how much it uses while browsing.
