Requst for someone who has a blackbird

The blackbird has been back-ordered for a good while now, I placed an order for one in april of last year for one myself. I didn't mind waiting, but it has been a year since then. To be honest I am growing rather tired of waiting, so I have a proposition to a current blackbird owner-

If you have one you are not really doing much with, would you be willing to do a trade with me? I am offering my on-order blackbird for your current system. I'll cover any costs pertaining to shipping. The one I have on order is the 4 core bundle with a 3u heatsink.

I figure it doesn't hurt to ask, and if someone is willing to take me up on this we can work out the logistics of having my order sent to you.

I did see that tweet from them, and I don't mean to speak ill of raptor as I'm sure they're doing the best they can, however that wouldn't be the first time raptor has said that.

I did see this reply from them early march about why they have been back-ordered-

We'll save the details for the upcoming blog post (if it happens), but yes, in a nutshell one specific silicon vendor has had factories shut down due to COVID, and has impacted a bunch of different industries including automotive (and us) as a result.

My educated guess is possibly the Lattice ICE40HX1K-VQ100 since i couldn't find any reseller that has them in stock.

Thanks for the info Borley.  It's too bad we can't hear this from Raptor.  I've called them twice this month and left messages.

I think they get a lot of inquiry (across all channels) about Blackbirds right now. Things are kept pretty well updated at their twitter, as recent as the last 24h.
