I just installed AlmaLinux, using it now.
I selected the Workstation spin. It uses Gnome, and I really don't care for it anymore.

That is as far as I've got.....thus far.  ;)

I want to try out different distro's since I haven't used Linux enough to really form an opinion on Gnome or the others.

Did you use the network install ISO?
I'm having issue's with the other two ISO options, they give an error when the installer just starts, preventing going any farther.
I haven't connected my Talos II to the internet yet, but maybe that's what I need to do.

If it's at all similar to Fedora or RHEL, there should be other Workstation flavours to try.
